A long book might be long because it is wide and deep, or it might be long because it is poorly edited, rambling, disorganized, wordy, and generally inefficient. I figure that risk increases with the size of the book, so why take a higher risk? My time is so valuable, and I hate for it to be wasted.<br /><br />And an answer based on experience.
